This blended online course gives public servants a grounding in the key principles and methods for effective public engagement. Public engagement can help improve government responsiveness, strengthen trust in public institutions and give a voice to those who historically are left out of public decision making.
What is involved:
A. 5 hours of bite-sized learning. Learn with a group across 4 weeks on an engaging online platform.
B. 2 facilitated “virtual” workshops including one with an expert speaker.
C. Content includes practical tasks relevant to a government context and experience from other public servants, to help you put your skills into practice.
D. Email notifications to guide your progress.
E. An optional virtual forum to discuss the course content with other public servant learners.
